Gretchen Selfridge

Gretchen serves as the COO of Open Impact and also brings her expertise to philanthropic and nonprofit strategy engagements. Taking a holistic view, she advises organizational leaders on issues of finance, planning and operations. She has led and scaled organizations at all stages of their development, serving as an executive, board member, consultant, and volunteer. In the tech sector Gretchen led finance and operations for an $800 million corporate division with operations worldwide. Subsequently she brought her depth of experience to projects in international relief, where she managed programs to bring health care education and medicine to underserved populations in post-conflict countries in West and Central Africa. This tested and affirmed Gretchen’s commitment to offer balance and encouragement to people in challenging times. In recent years, she has focused on philanthropy, bringing knowledge, good sense, deep analytics, smart decision-making, compassionate leadership and an ability to move things forward. Gretchen holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco and is a trained Conflict Mediator.
