Mary Loebig Giles
Writer and Editor

An experienced developmental editor of over 15 years, Mary Loebig Giles has worked with a wide variety of publishing houses, including McGraw-Hill, Harper Collins, McMillan and London-based Mitchell Beasley and Duncan-Baird. At McGraw-Hill she helped re-launch the children’s science line, developing partnerships with NASA, a nobel-prize-winning biochemist, and the Bank Street College of Education. At Mitchell Beasley, she managed highly detailed projects, such as The Good Website Guide, The London Schools Guide, and the best-selling London Property Guide. More recently she has worked as a publishing consultant to fiction and non-fiction authors, and as a corporate copy editor and writer to clients such as Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund and the Fiduciary Institute on their Campaign for Investors. Mary currently writes grants for Sunset Youth Services, a small nonprofit serving youth in the juvenile justice system, and has recently written a faith-based family conversation guide to serving the homeless.
