Niko Klein is an impact investment advisor with over a decade of experience investing in frontier and underserved markets in the US and abroad. Niko founded and leads Cirsia Impact, an independent Registered Investment Advisor and impact strategy consultancy, dedicated to serving families and institutions with bespoke advisory services related to their private impact investments. Prior to Cirsia, Niko worked for six years at Imprint Capital Advisors, a boutique impact investment firm acquired in 2014 by Goldman Sachs to serve as its impact investment arm. At Imprint, Niko initially developed and led the firm's Research division, analyzing market trends, regulatory and policy context, and business model innovations with the aim of developing concrete investment strategies that translated the wide-ranging philanthropic goals and activities of Imprint’s clients into clear theses and actionable investment pipelines. Niko also directed the firm's activity in US Education (spanning early childhood, K-12, post-secondary, and workforce), Food (including local food systems and smallholder agriculture, nutrition and food justice, and food technology) and Communities (housing, job creation, and regional revitalization). His direct investments include Revolution Foods, Wireless Generation (Amplify), Acelero Learning, and the Salt Lake Early Childhood Social Impact Bond. Prior to Imprint, Niko worked in real estate development and hospitality in Argentina, at a community health and family planning organization in Mexico, and at youth and entrepreneur education programs in New York and Washington, DC, where he is originally from. Niko is an avid cook, hiker, cyclist, and political junkie.
